Who We Are
INOVA Home Health provides direct nursing care, teaching, injections, dressing changes, care of the dying, and health promotion. These skilled services must be ordered by a physician and the patient must be homebound.
Services provided by Inova Home Health are covered by Medicare, Cardinal Care Medicaid, HMOs, and private insurance companies. We evaluate your insurance coverage and bill the appropriate insurance company for you.
Medicare home care services are available to people under a physician's care and require a physician's order. The patient must be homebound due to illness or injury and unable to leave home without considerable taxing effort. Most HMOs and insurance companies follow similar patient eligibility requirements. If insurance does not cover the services provided, we accept payment by check, Visa, or MasterCard.
Specialty staff, when needed, includes registered dieticians, IV specialists, pediatric nurses, wound ostomy continence nurses, and diabetic nurse educators.
