Who We Are
The Buchanan County Health Department offers health education and services to achieve and maintain optimum personal and community health. A health educator is available to promote community health education, screenings, worksite programs, health counseling, coalition building for health, and grants. Upon agreement with local schools and colleges, the local health department assists students in gaining the clinical experience needed to fulfill their course requirements.
