The Rappahannock County Health Department is part of the Rappahannock/Rapidan Health District. Its mission is to achieve and maintain optimum personal and community health for its residents by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection. Most services are provided on a sliding fee scale based on income and include:
