The Northampton County Health Department, part of the Eastern Shore Health District, is committed to improving the community's health and environment by providing education and quality service in an efficient, consistent, and caring manner.

Some of the services offered include health education, health screenings, HIV/AIDs testing and treatment, immunizations for children, adults and travel immunizations, flu and pneumonia vaccinations, Medicaid pre-authorization, personal preventive health care, monitoring of community health problems, environmental health protection, and more.

Most services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income.  Proof of Income may be requested for services.
