Who We Are

Staff and volunteers offer health information that is easy to understand. You can make more informed choices when you have increased knowledge. This is partnership with Medical College of Virginia (MCV) Hospital Auxiliary and the VCU Libraries. Assistance is provided by a trained health sciences librarian and volunteers. The Information Board has information about support group meetings, announcements, articles of special interest, speaker announcements and upcoming events.



The Community Health Education Center (CHEC) is located on the ground floor of the VCU Health System Gateway Building. Parking is available in the Patient and Visitor Parking deck on Clay and 12th Streets.
