Who We Are
Virginia Supportive Housing provides permanent affordable housing with support services for persons with traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI) and other types of physical disabilities. HomeLink is a permanent supportive housing program in Greater Richmond that provides affordable rental housing along with intensive case management services to single adults with disabilities who’ve experienced long or repeated episodes of homelessness.
The HomeLink case management team provides a full range of community-based services designed to assist participants with maintaining their housing and addressing health and recovery goals they may have. Housing and case management are provided for as long as the person continues to need the assistance.
Tenants pay 30% of their income with a minimum of $50 per month. The remaining rent is subsidized by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Section 811 Program.
Support services are available to help tenants and their families remain in permanent housing, increase their skills and income and achieve greater self determination. The three major components of Support Services include Case Management, Counseling and Skills Training and Community Building. Mental Health Support Services are also offered to tenants who have psychiatric disabilities.
