Memory Assessment Center
Neuropsychology and Complementary Medicine
Who We Are
Neuropsychology and Complementary Medicine offers neuropsychological evaluations for memory disorders. Neuropsychological evaluations differ from other evaluations in that Clinical Neuropsychologists have specialized their training in medical diagnoses, the brain's development and how the brain changes over time. We understand each and every aspect of brain function and how the endocrine system, neurological systems, environment, food/behaviors/mood, toxins, exposure, etc all affect learning, memory, behavior, mood, and daily function. Attentional deficits, memory, and behavior are just a symptom.
Neuropsychological Assessment for concussions and brain injury (current and long-term issues for stroke, brain injuries and concussions through sports and accidents) for dementia (pseudo-dementia, fronto-temporal dementia, Alzheimer's dementia, delirium, encephalitic changes, AIDS dementia, alcohol induced dementia, nutritional causes for memory losses) and long-term effects of strokes. All of these are conducted with the expectation that we look for rehabilitation and recovery of skills if possible.
