Who We Are
Virginia Department of Social Service offers a 24 hour, toll free Adult Protective Services (APS) hotline at 888-832-3858.
To report suspected adult abuse, neglect of exploitation, call your local department of social services or the Hotline.
APS investigates reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of adults 60 years of age and older and incapacitated adults age 18 or older. Social workers may arrange for a wide variety of health, housing, social and legal services.
