Who We Are
Cornerstones, Inc. works with Fairfax County, other nonprofit organizations, and corporate partners to provide housing support for up to 45 families through the Cornerstones Affordable Housing Program. Part of the Affordable Housing Program is Supportive Housing.
Families in the housing programs receive intensive case management. Adults receive training in financial planning and goal setting, education and job training support, as well as referrals to help families reach self-sufficiency. Children receive support through volunteer tutors and referrals to meet developmental and academic milestones. Call or visit the website for some of the housing programs:
Another housing program is Housing OpportUnites Strengthen Everyone (H.O.U.S.E.). This program is for families who have experienced homelessness, have low income, and face other barriers to stable and affordable permanent housing such as bad credit, high debt, or past evictions.
