Who We Are
A Warm Line is a peer-run support line for individuals residing in Virginia who need someone to listen with non-judgmental compassion and/or receive referrals for behavioral health services in Virginia when requested. Peer operators can provide local, state and national resources to assist callers in their recovery. The message of hope is emphasized, because operators themselves offer living examples of personal accomplishment and achievement of wellness. Additionally, the staff and volunteers at MHAV maintain strict confidentiality and do not divulge personally identifying information regarding a caller.
