Who We Are
The Galax County Health Department offers Environmental Health Services to protect the public’s health by engaging in a wide variety of inspection, permitting, and testing services, including:
- Drinking water inspection, permitting, and surveillance

- Institutional inspection (child and adult facilities)
- Migrant labor camp inspection
- Milk plant inspection
