Who We Are
Augusta Health offers financial assistance for certain medical expenses to qualified individuals and families. Financial Assistance can be used towards services normally covered by insurance such as
- Hospital care
- Home health care
- Durable medical equipment
- Hospice care
- Visits to physician offices associated with Augusta Health
Eligibility for financial assistance is based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines, income, and the number of family members. Patients may qualify for a 100% or 60% fee reduction. As a condition of eligibility, you must make an application for assistance to Medicare, Medicaid, SLH, medical insurance, etc., that may be applicable for payment of your medical and hospital charges.
