Who We Are

Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) solicits, collects, stores, and distributes food to qualified nonprofit organizations that provide meals and emergency food assistance to people who are disadvantaged, older adults or ill. CAFB is the largest, public nonprofit hunger and nutrition education resource in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. A Food Pantry Locator is available on the website.
