Who We Are

The Loudoun Fire & Life Safety Education programs include the following:



Smoke Detector Program - the members of the fire and rescue system will visit your home to offer a free smoke detect check, as well as provide additional fire safety information.   If you need a smoke alarm, they are free by calling 703-737-8093.   Fill out the Smoke Alarm Installation Request Form online to request a free smoke alarm installation.



Life Safety Trailer - this 35-foot mobile classroom trailer is designed to simulate a house and is used to teach fire escape plans, home safety, and severe weather preparedness.  To request the use of this trailer, please contact the Public Education office at 703-771-5551.



Fire Prevention and Safety Information for your home - Provides guidance and instructions on Planning Your Escape, Creating an Escape Plan Grid, Using a Home Fire Safety Checklist, Tip for Fire Safety and Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.  Visit the website for detailed information.



Adult Programs - File of Life (emergency medical packet), Fire-the Unforgiving Nature, Make the Right Call, Remembering When, Safe Steps for Seniors (injury and fall prevention) and Workplace Fire Safety.  Call 703-771-5551 for more information.
